About Us

Who we are

My name is Jacob, and I'm the person you'll be dealing with.

I'm not a water industry executive. I drive a ready-mix truck. I've spent years hauling concrete to job sites, and I started this company the way most small companies actually start — nights and weekends, around a full-time job, because I saw a problem worth solving and nobody was solving it at a price normal people could pay.

I already run a small manufacturing supply business, so I knew how to source equipment, vet a factory, and import it properly. When I started looking at atmospheric water generators, two things stood out. The technology works. And every company selling it in America was charging luxury-appliance money for it — six and seven thousand dollars for machines making five or ten gallons a day.

I went and found a manufacturer building a better machine and brought it in at a price that makes sense. That's the whole business.

When you email us, I read it. When you call, I answer. If your machine has a problem, you're dealing with me, not a call center and not a factory overseas.

[Jacob — this is a working draft from what I know. Swap in your last name, where you're based, and anything about why water specifically got your attention. If you have a photo of yourself, put it here. On a page like this a real face outperforms every trust badge you could buy.]

We're new. Here's why that's worth knowing.

We haven't been doing this for twenty years and we're not going to pretend otherwise. What we can tell you is exactly what we sell, exactly where it comes from, and exactly what it does — including the parts that aren't flattering.

If you look through this site you'll find the humidity level below which our machines stop being worth owning, the electricity they consume, the one lab result that came back higher than the rest, and a plain statement that if you live in the desert Southwest you should not buy from us. That's deliberate. A company with a track record can lean on its reputation. We don't have one yet, so we lead with the numbers instead.

Who builds our machines

Our units are manufactured to our specification by Hangzhou Haolin Water Technology Co. Ltd, in the Linping District of Hangzhou, China. We think you should know that rather than having to guess at it.

Haolin builds atmospheric water generators and effectively nothing else. Their R&D team has more than 19 years in the field, and their range runs from countertop units up to industrial systems producing thousands of gallons a day for mining camps, remote oil sites, and municipal water stations.

Their track record, in their own numbers

Countries served 15
Distribution partners 30+
Units delivered 2,000+

Their installations include the United States, United Kingdom, France, Italy, Spain, the United Arab Emirates, Guadeloupe, Nigeria, South Africa, Thailand, the Philippines, Malaysia, Indonesia, Australia, and New Zealand.

What happens in the factory

Haolin builds the core of these machines in-house rather than assembling bought-in modules. Their process covers system design, copper tube forming and welding, aluminium fin punching and threading, sheet metal fabrication, compressor installation, and filtration assembly.

They also run a temperature and humidity simulation chamber — a room where they can set the air to a specified condition and measure exactly how much water a machine produces in it. Every unit is performance tested and its output verified before it is crated for shipping.

Documentation

The units hold a CE Attestation of Conformity and an IEC Low Voltage Directive test report, both issued by an independent testing body, covering electrical and mechanical safety.

Water produced by the technology has been analyzed by an independent laboratory and passed every measured parameter. We publish those results in full, including the methodology and the limitations — see Water Quality & Testing.

All components that contact drinking water are manufactured to national drinking water standards. To be precise about it: those are Chinese national standards, not NSF certification. We are having water from our own units tested at a US laboratory and will publish that report when it arrives.

What we're responsible for

Haolin builds the machine. Everything after that is us.

  • Your warranty is with us — one year on the complete unit, three years on the compressor, condenser, evaporator, and motor. You deal with us, in the United States, not with a factory eight thousand miles away.
  • Returns are handled by us — 30 days, no restocking fee, and we cover return freight in the lower 48.
  • Questions are answered by us — including the ones where the honest answer is that this machine isn't right for your situation.

Why this matters to us

More people should have access to clean water than currently do, and the technology to make it out of thin air already exists and works. Most of the companies selling it in America price it like a luxury appliance. We'd rather sell more machines at a smaller margin and put water in more houses.

That's the whole idea. Everything else on this site is us trying to earn enough of your trust to let us do it.
